Merry CHRISTmas!

Merry CHRISTmas one day late everyone! My year of being Miss Nebraska Teen USA 2013 has been such an amazing gift from God, and I'll be forever thankful. However, Jesus is the ultimate best gift any of us could ever imagine! St. Paul's Lutheran School

I was honored to speak to the great students of St. Paul's Lutheran School last Friday! It was the final school I spoke at as Miss Nebraska Teen USA! :)

Norfolk Junior High

I spoke at the Norfolk Junior HIgh recently!  The 7th and 8th graders were great! It's starting to sink in that I'm almost finished being Miss Nebraska Teen USA! The junior high was the 2nd to last school that I'm speaking at this year. Thanks for being so supportive everybody!

Montessori Elementary

I visited Montessori recently! I had a great time speaking to the K-4th graders! I absolutely adored all the little ones!

 It was great seeing my former elementary teacher, Mrs. Olenich!

Wayne - 7th & 8th Grade

I've been keeping busy with appearances these last few weeks! Recently I spoke in Wayne once more, but this time I spoke to the 7th and 8th graders!  It was a great day!

Pierce Junior/Senior High School

It was so neat speaking at Pierce's Junior/Senior High School. Throughout my year, I normally spoke to students that were younger than me, so this was a change getting to speak to students my age! I'm very thankful for the opportunity!

I have the most amazing grandparents ever as well as a wonderful great aunt! They all came to Pierce's Junior/Senior High School to listen to me speak as Miss Nebraska Teen USA for one of the final times! I love them so much!

Bel Air Elementary

Recently I spoke to every classroom K-4 at Bel Air Elementary!  What amazing kids! I absolutely adored them!

Wayne - 6th graders

Loved speaking in Wayne to the 3 classes of kindergarteners as well as the 3 classes of 5th graders!!  What great kids!

It was so great speaking to the students of Wayne! I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the sweet students!

PEO Organization

It was so neat getting to speak to the women of Norfolk's PEO organization! I was honored to be their guest speaker! They are all amazing ladies impacting our community in such a positive manner! :)

November/December Updates

Hi everyone! SOOO much has happened since I last blogged! I've been blessed with going around and speaking to schools all over, and that has definitely kept me busy. Also, I am wrapping up my year of being Miss Nebraska Teen USA 2013. I pass the crown onto the next girl in exactly 2 weeks! Where has the time gone? :)

There's so much to be thankful for! This is simply one day out of the year to strategically think about our blessings. What has the Lord blessed you with? Wonderful family and friends? A quality education? A great job? Take time today to thank the Lord for all He has done for you! He deserves our endless thanks. :) God is so good! Enjoy your day everyone! :) Happy Thanksgiving!

Nebraska Movie Premiere

I feel so blessed to have attended the Nebraska movie premiere last night! It was a wonderful night filled with amazing and talented people as well as great memories made! :) God is so good, and I will forever be thankful for this opportunity!

Nebraska movie premiere with my sweet friend Melanie! She worked as a hair stylist on the set of the Nebraska movie! It was so neat seeing her name in the movie's credits!

It was so great meeting Mr. Bruce Dern last night! He is one of the stars of the Nebraska movie! I was so fortunate as to sit next to him, his wonderful assistant, and my sweet friend Melanie at the movie premiere!  God is amazing and works in neat ways! 

I feel so blessed to have met Academy Award winning director Alexander Payne last night at the Nebraska movie premiere!! :) He is such a sweet man! I was also so blessed to sit right behind him during the movie premiere! In 8th grade, I actually did my "Famous Nebraskan" project on Mr. Payne! :) He is from Nebraska, and he is a mega successful individual in the film industry! He is proof that you can make your dreams come true - no matter where you're from! :) Thank you God for this opportunity!
