I had a fantastic time making crafts and talking to all of the Daisy/Girl Scout girls yesterday! :) The theme of the event was Pretty, Pretty Princess, so I loved getting to see all of the girls dressed up like little princesses and looking darling! :)

Countdown to Miss Teen USA

God is so amazing!! What a dream come true to be able to compete for Miss Teen USA this upcoming August! It's less than 4 months away! Wooo hooo! God's majesty and splendor never cease to amaze me! :)

Kimberly Spa Visit

Yesterday I got to stop in and meet some of the amazing ladies at Kimberly Spa - one of my incredible sponsors! I can't wait to start visiting them more often! What a neat, relaxing oasis! :)

Miss Teen USA Gown Selection!

Yesterday I had the extreme honor of selecting an evening gown for Miss Teen USA at my wonderful dress sponsor - Winning Crown Boutique! Thank you to the amazing Michele and Beau at Winning Crown, Ellie (Miss Nebraska USA 2013), John (my fantastic director), my mom - Nancy, and my sister - Desi for helping me find the most fabulous dress imaginable! I'm obsessed with it, and I can't wait to wear it on the Miss Teen USA stage! :) Thank you times a million! What a dream day!

CureSearch Walk

This past weekend I had the amazing experience of attending the CureSearch Walk for Childhood Cancer in Kansas City, Kansas. I got to attend this fantastic event along with my Vanbros pageant sisters and family from Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Missouri! It was such a touching event. Getting to walk for these individuals whose lives have been affected by cancer was an honor. Our team, Warriors for Ross, raised over $5,000 to help find a cure to defeat this terrible disease! It was an amazing day and will forever be ingrained in my memory. God bless!

Speaking Engagement with Dr. Tom Osborne

Last week I had the pleasure of speaking at Seward High School with the legendary Dr. Tom Osborne! My dear friend, Lonnie Senstock, a director, producer, and actor, was so kind as to let me be involved with this great event! I was honored to speak to the student body regarding dreaming big, and  I had an amazing time!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter, everyone!! No matter what we've done, what we've gone through, or where we have been, God still loves us so much!! In fact, He loves us SO much that He gave His one and only begotten son to die on the cross for our sins. Death and sin have been forever defeated!! God is so good!! Glory to God! :)

Norfolk Middle School

I had an absolutely phenomenal time speaking at the Norfolk Middle School today! I was honored to talk to the 600+ kids about dreaming BIG and respecting themselves and others. Afterwards, I got to sign tons of autographs - but not just on my autograph cards! After I ran out of the official cards, kids came up to me and asked for autographs on their arms, sweatshirts, book bags, shoes, binders, and even a phone case! One sweet young girl came up to me after waiting in line for an autograph and said that she was so excited to meet me - just as excited as if she were waiting in line to meet Justin Bieber! I’ll never forget this amazing experience! God is so good and so wonderful!
